PDF Tools Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This policy explains what PDF Tools for Android does with files, purchase information, temporary app data, and support messages. It applies to the Android app and not to the VeloTract website.
2. Files and documents
PDF Tools reads only the files, photos, and camera captures that you choose through Android system interfaces. Processing happens on your device. The app does not upload selected files, put them in a server queue, or use them to build a profile.
The app writes working copies and results to app-controlled temporary or destination locations so a task can complete. Temporary workspaces are cleaned when they are no longer needed and stale workspaces are removed when the app starts. Files you explicitly save or share remain under your control.
3. Data we do not collect
- No account, registration, or developer profile is required.
- We do not send automatic developer analytics, advertising identifiers, persistent identifiers, location data, or crash reports.
- We do not inspect, retain, or sell the content of your selected documents beyond what is needed to complete the task on your device.
4. Google Play purchases
If you buy Pro, Google Play processes the purchase and provides the app with the transaction state needed to unlock the product. PDF Tools stores the minimum entitlement state needed to restore access on this device. Payment credentials are handled by Google Play; PDF Tools does not receive your card or bank details.
5. Support messages
If you contact support, you choose what to include in your message. Support email is handled through your configured email provider. We use the message to answer your request and do not add you to a marketing list.
6. Children
PDF Tools does not knowingly request personal information from children. The app has no account system, social features, or targeted advertising.
