Recording tips
Best practices for tracking supplements
Always include units of measurement
Specify drops, milliliters (ml), milligrams (mg), or international units (IU). Never write numbers without their units.
Record skipped or refused doses
If a child spit out part of a chewable or refused a morning liquid, write down what actually occurred instead of marking it complete.
Document how it was administered
Record the factual method as used on that day, so caregivers and healthcare providers see a consistent historical record.
No dosage recommendations
BrightTrace is strictly a record-keeping aid. Always follow dosing instructions provided by your child’s physician or pharmacist.
Optional phone record
