Copy the text anywhere on your iPhone, open Loft, and tap Paste. Loft can also detect clipboard content automatically when you open the app — if you prefer, you can turn clipboard auto-detection off in Settings.
From the Home screen, choose to open a file and pick a Markdown or text file stored on your device. The file is formatted and rendered locally — it never leaves your iPhone.
Documents you have read recently appear on the Home screen so you can reopen them. Reading history is stored on your device only and is never uploaded.
In the reader, choose the save or share option to render the whole document as one complete image. If you save it to Photos, Loft will ask for photo library permission at that moment.
Analytics and diagnostics are off by default. You can turn them on or withdraw your consent at any time in Settings — withdrawal immediately prevents new events from being recorded and deletes unsent on-device analytics data, and the app works fully either way. See our Privacy Policy for collection and deletion details.
Loft does not fetch web pages, so URL-only shares are not imported. Open the page, copy the text you want to read, and paste it into Loft instead.
