Frequently asked questions
Where is my habit data stored?
Habit names, schedules, completion history, archived status, and app preferences are stored in the app's private storage on your device. MicroHabit has no app account or developer-operated cloud sync. Android device backup may include eligible data depending on your system and backup settings; see the Privacy Policy.
How do reminders work?
MicroHabit asks for notification permission only after you choose to turn on a reminder for a habit. If a reminder does not appear, check the app's reminder setting and Android's notification permission and device settings. Android controls delivery, so a reminder is not guaranteed if the system blocks it.
What can the Android widget do?
The widget uses current local habit data and offers its supported one-tap action for binary habits. Count and duration habits open the app so you can enter or manage their progress there.
What is included in Free and Pro?
Free includes up to five active habits and Weekly Progress. Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited active habits and Day Review. There is no subscription or trial. Google Play shows the price available to you before checkout.
How do I restore Pro?
Open Settings and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Google account used for the purchase. The app checks the purchase state reported by Google Play; a restore does not create another charge. If Play is unavailable, try again after it is available. Refunds are handled through Google Play.
How do I remove local app data?
Use Android's app storage controls to clear MicroHabit's local data, or uninstall the app. Android or Google may keep a separate eligible backup according to your backup settings; removing local app data does not necessarily remove that backup.
