Contact support
For product, privacy or accessibility questions, email ios.feedback@velotract.com. Include the iOS or app version if you have it. Please avoid sending a child's identifying or health details unless they are needed to explain the issue.
Are records stored in an account or synced?
No BrightTrace account is required, and BrightTrace does not sync records between devices. Profiles, routines, records and meal photos are kept with the app on the device where they were entered. Restoring an Insights subscription does not restore these local records.
How do I delete records or profiles?
Delete an individual entry from the timeline. To remove a child profile and its records, open the child-profile switcher, swipe the profile, then enter the child's nickname when asked to confirm. To clear all profiles and local care data, open BrightTrace Settings, choose Clear all data and complete the confirmation step. Individual record deletion has a brief undo window.
Uninstalling BrightTrace removes data stored only in the app on that device. Apple device backups may contain app data depending on your settings, and deleting local data does not remove copies already included in a backup. See the BrightTrace privacy policy for details.
How do I restore an Insights purchase?
Open the Insights screen in BrightTrace and choose Restore Purchases while signed in to the Apple account used for the subscription. Apple handles billing and subscription management. Restoring purchase access checks the subscription only; it does not bring profiles, records, plans or photos to a new device.
How do reminders work?
Routine reminders are optional and off by default. Enable them in BrightTrace Settings, then allow notifications when iOS asks. You can change app notification permissions in iOS Settings.
What happens when I share a child summary PDF?
The PDF is generated on your device. It leaves BrightTrace only when you choose an app or destination in the iOS share sheet. Review the file and destination before sharing; the destination you select handles the content under its own practices.
Does a missing date mean there were no events?
No. “Not recorded” is different from a confirmed day with no event. BrightTrace leaves missing information missing; it does not treat an empty date as zero. Its summaries describe recorded patterns and do not establish cause, diagnose a condition or determine whether treatment works.
